In this study, we try to reveal the artistic and critical dimensions of the narrative meaning looming from the folds of drama in the stories and novels of Abdul Salam Al-Ajili. Because the story and the novel are considered as a plethora of feelings and senses that overlap between the defeated reality and the victorious past, and between the dream of exclusivity and innovation, and the bitterness of oppression and alienation. Throughout this study, we have started a brief study of the realistic method in the study of the novel and the story in Arabic literature. We had summarized the realistic method in general, and then we talked about the realistic method in the Arabic novel in general and in Al-Ajili’s literature in particular, through a set of literary discipline that highlight to us the strengths and weakness in any literary work. After that, we moved to the main factor in any literary work, namely, time and place in the work of fiction in general, and in the writings of Al-Ajili in particular, and stopped at the fiction time and place in Al-Ajili’s novels. We explored Al-Ajili's skill in connecting far places at one point, despite the distances among them in reality. The researcher explained the image of the place, and the narrator's penetration of the place and the outer space, and the ability to link the real time to the narrative time in the novel, and the real place and the narrative place in the novel. We stopped at the points that we have reached in this period of time since these are the points that we were able to read about the writer and some of the literary studies which were written about him. Hopefully, we may widely dive into the folds of his writings to make the study rich enough to understand the literature of Abdul Salam Al-Ajili in the world in general and in Turkey in particular.
