Abstract


EXAMINING TEACHER'S SELF-EFFICACYOF TEACHING CONSIDERING SOME CHANCING VALUES
This study is aimed to determine the self-efficiency perceptions of teachers towards teaching. The sub-purposes of the study is to find out whether this perception show any differences related to the type of school, gender, education level and experience. The universe consist of the teachers working at state schools of Konya in 2013-2014 academic year. The sample consists of 498 teachers working at pre-school, primary, secondary and high schools in Konya. The scale developed and adapted into Turkish in 2001 Tschannen-Moran and Woolfolk Hoy was used. It was seen that the perception of the teachers related to their gender did not indicate any difference. However, there was a meaningful difference related to their experience, the place of the school and the school type.
