Abstract


THE RELATİONSHİP BETWEEN ORGANİZATİONAL SİLENCE AND EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE: A CASE STUDY ON ACCAMMODATİON ESTABLİSHMENTS
Recently, manpower which is in heavy competition terms is very important for businesses. In order to determine the relationship between employee performance and organizational silence, the 4 and 5 star hotels in Ankara employed 403 employees completed the questionnaire. To evaluate the results of the study , no statistically significant difference between different groups in order to investigate whether the univariate analysis techniques applied to the t-test and ANOVA test. The findings obtained from the analysis supports the hypothesis put forth. Silence in the study of organizational by demographic characteristics of employees by gender, education and marital levels, significant difference was found in the analysis. According to the analysis by demographic characteristics of employees' levels of employee performance, marital status, age and education was concluded that the significant difference. Organizational silence“managerial and organizational reasons, work-related issues, lack of experience, fear of isolation, fear of damaging relations” correlation analysis was carried out to determine the relationship between the employee performance “job skills, do their job, self improvement, cooperation and communication, keep the rules” organizational silence, according to the results of the sub-dimensions of employee performance is concluded that there is a relationship of mutual negative. The organizational silence is a business sees increases employee performance has fallen concluded. According to the survey, recommendations were made for businesses.
