Abstract

CENTRALIZATION AND DECENTRALIZATION PREFERENCES DURING THE NATION STATES BUILDING AND MAINTENANCE PROCESS AND DEMOCRATIZATION EFFORTS UNDER THE TURKISH REPUBLIC AND AFGHANISTAN ISLAMIC STATE’S CONSTITIONS
Turkey and Afghanistan, even though the development level of different, historical and cultural structures shows similar features. Especially at the beginning of the 20th century, M. Kemal Atatürk in Turkey, Shah Reza Pahlavi in Iran and Amanullah Khan in Afghanistan have attempted to build a similar community. At the same time these states structures have become roughly secular nation states and have been the scene of a modernization move. Since the revolution and the reforms of the country's most remote corners must be received all over home, during those periods and reaching to different points in the next phase, the State's most prominent feature is the Central Government's preference.
