People time to time, have to endure long way between the region they live in and the region they have job. This experience, that is referred to the literature as commuting, has reached a significant economic value world wide. That is why various precautions that can be taken to prevent the effects of commuting to the residential areas and to individuals has begun to be discussed. The researches analyzed that the size of the commuting is diversing according to financial situation of the employees and differences in the economic, social and environmental factors between the regions. In this study, it is aimed to explicate on people who live in Eskişehir and commuting on Kutahya within the framework of sustainable city concept. In the survey study for this purpose, the measurement criteria of the concept of sustainable city were taken into consideration and the results were evaluated within this framework. According to the findings obtained as a result of the analyzes, it was determined that the behaviors of individuals commuting from Eskişehir to Kütahya are based on environmental, social and to some extent family reasons, and economic reasons are low in importance. },author={Kazim İlhan YARİKAN-Ergin UZGÖREN},year={2020},journal={The Journal of Turk-Islam World Social Studies}}
