Abstract
Konuşmanın parlak stilistik vasıtası olan deyimler insan nutkuna renklilik getirerek onu görüntülü ve inandırıcı ederler. Yerli yerinde kullanılmış, halk müdrikliyini nu yansıtan bir deyim dili canlandırmağa yardım eder. Deyimler esasen stilistik bir renk taşırlar ve kelime usalarının elinde hem karakterin, hem de yazarın kendisinin konuşmasını canlandırmağa hizmet ederler. Daha çok şiirlerde kullanılan deyimler üzerinde kimi zaman tam manzum yapılar bile kurulabilir. Makalemizde hem sözlü hem de yazılı Türk edebiyatında deyimlerin bedii amaclarla şairler ve yazarlar tarafından kullanımı, deyimlerin eselere renk katmak aletine çevrildiği incelenmişdir.

Abstract
Phraseological units represent the bright stylistic tool of the speech, making it colourful, convincing and figurative. The saying, full of people`s wisdom or the expressive idiom bring revival into the speech, making it more eloquent. The phraseologisms are mostly stylistically painted expressions. And in hands of masters of word they become one of the most effective mechanisms of creation of the artistic image, since they are used for revival of both author`s and character`s speech. Very frequently the phraseologisms are used in poetry, where it is possible to build a whole poetic structure based on stable combinations of words. Our article is an analysis of use of the phraseological units in Turkish oral and written literature in order to create figurativeness and colorfulness in artworks.
