Abstract

Ottoman Empire forced to sign Armistice of Mudros after its defeat in World War I. Allies, enforce secret treaties during war, which also brought to light their main aim with the conditions of Treaty of Serves. Middle Eastern territory of Ottoman Empire invaded by British Empire, which could not be conquered during the war and since the beginning of the war demanded areas such as Mosul and surroundings also invaded. Due to population density of Turk territories accepted in Turkish Government in Misak-ı Milli, which accepted in Chamber of Deputies in 28th of January 1920. Mosul and surroundings belongs to Turkish territory which has been invaded by British Empire after the Armistice of Mudros. This research will focus on British Empire’s negative attitude about solutions after the World War I, provoke the rebels against the Turkish Government in Middle East and how Turkish populated Mosul territory lost.
