Abstract
XVII. yüzyıl şairi Nef‘î, edebiyat tarihi içinde kaside şairi oluşuyla ön plandadır. Hayatı boyunca saltanatlarına şahit olduğu Sultan I. Ahmed, Sultan II. Osman ve Sultan IV. Murad’a methiyeler yazmıştır. Sultan I. Mustafa’ya hiç kaside yazmayan ve başka yönlerine ek olarak bu yönüyle de samimi bir şair olarak addedilen Nef ‘î’nin Sultan Osman’a dört kaside yazdığı görülür. Bu çalışmada Sultan Osman için kaleme alınan kasideler üzerinde duruldu. “Kasîde-i Garrâ Berây-ı Cülûs-ı Sultân ‘Osmân Hân” (K. 11), “Fahriyye Der Medh-i Sultân ‘Osmân Hân” (K. 12), “Der Sitâyiş-i Kasr-ı Sultân ‘Osmân” (K. 13) ve “Kasîde-i Âlilâl Der Ta‘rîf-i Cihâd-ı Sultân ‘Osmân” (K. 14) başlıklarını taşıyan kasideler, çok kısa hüküm sürmüş olan Sultan II. Osman’ın siyasi rolüne ve bazı şahsî vasıflarına yönelik beyitler dikkate alınarak incelendi. Böylece şairin padişaha olan yaklaşımı tespit edilerek Nef‘î’nin padişahın hayatına ya da gerçeklere ne derece bağlı kaldığı belirlenmeye çalışıldı. Tarihî veriler dikkate alınarak yapılan çalışmada padişahın hayatı ile uyuşan ya da aksinin iddia edildiği durumların nedenleri üzerinde de duruldu. Kasidelerde yer alan padişahın şahsına yönelik sühan-perver, adil, cengâver, usta binici vb. gibi vasıflarını öven kalıp ifadelerin tarihî kaynaklarla ne derece örtüştüğü araştırıldı. Sonuç olarak Nef‘î’nin nizâm-ı âlem ülküsüne ve döneminde bile eleştirilerden kurtulamayan padişahın icraatlarına gönülden sahip çıkan bir şair olarak bu yolda şiirlerini kaleme aldığı görüldü.

Abstract
The 17th century poet Nef'i is at the forefront of literary history as a poet of odes. He wrote eulogies for Sultan Ahmed I, Sultan Osman II and Sultan Murad IV, whose reigns he witnessed throughout his life. Nef'i, who never wrote an ode to Sultan Mustafa I and is considered a sincere poet in this respect in addition to his other characteristics, is seen to have written four odes for Sultan Osman. This study focuses on the odes written for Sultan Osman. The poems titled “Kasîde-i Garrâ Berây-ı Cülûs-ı Sultân ‘Osmân Hân” (K. 11), “Fahriyye Der Medh-i Sultân ‘Osmân Hân” (K. 12), “Der Sitâyiş-i Kasr-ı Sultân ‘Osmân” (K. 13) and “Kasîde-i Âlilâl Der Ta‘rîf-i Cihâd-ı Sultân ‘Osmân” (K. 14) were examined by taking into consideration the couplets regarding the political role and some personal characteristics of Sultan Osman II, who had a very short reign. In this way, the poet’s approach to the sultan was determined and an attempt was made to determine the extent to which Nef‘i was attached to the sultan’s life or to the facts. In the study, which was conducted by taking into account historical data, the reasons for the situations that are consistent with the life of the Sultan or the opposite are also emphasized. It was investigated to what extent the stereotyped expressions in the odes praising the qualities of the sultan such as being a benefactor, just, a warrior, a master rider, etc. are consistent with historical sources. As a result, it was seen that Nef‘i was a poet who wholeheartedly supported the ideal of order and the actions of the sultan, who could not escape criticism even during his time, and wrote his poems in this way.
