Abstract
İslâm siyaset geleneğinde dikkatimizi çeken simalardan birisinin, Abbasîlerin üçüncü halifesi Muhammed el-Mehdî’nin eşi, Hâdî ve Hârûnüürreşîd’in annesi Hayzürân olduğu söylenebilir. Nüfuz sahibi, sözü geçen ve Mehdî üzerinde büyük tesiri olan Hayzürân, devlet işleriyle ilgili emir ve yasaklarda bulunurdu. Halk, ihtiyaçlarını gidermesi için gruplar hâlinde onun kapısına gelir, ondan yardım isterdi. Onun kabul salonları devlet ileri gelenleriyle, makam mevki umanlarla dolup taşardı. Senelik 260.000 dinar harcama yaptığı, vefat ettiği zaman 160.000.000 dirhemden daha çok mala sahip olduğu nakledilir. Abbasî devletinde Hayzürân’ın dışında iki oğlu da halifelik yapan başka halife annesi yoktur. Onun eşi Halife Mehdî’nin ölümünde dolaylı yoldan, oğlu Hâdî’nin ölümünde doğrudan tesiri olduğuna dair muhtelif rivayet ve görüşler vardır. Bu çalışmada kadınların siyasete tesiri bağlamında Hayzürân örneği, temel kaynakların referansları ve çağdaş araştırmacıların tahlil ve yorumları ışığında ortaya konulmaya çalışılacaktır.

Abstract
It can be said that one of the most remarkable figures in the politic tradition of Islam is Hayzürân, the wife of the third Caliph of the Abbasids, Hâdî, and the mother of Hârûnüürreşîd. Hayzuran, who was influential and had great influence over Mahdi, was found in orders and bans related to state affairs. The people came to his door in groups to get their needs out, and asked for help. Her reception halls were filled with state's elders and people who hoped for the position. It is reported that she spent 260,000 dinars a year and had more than 160,000,000 dirhams when she died. In the Abbasid state, there are no other caliph mothers who her two sons was caliphate except Hayzuran. There are various rumors and opinions that she had influence indirectly in the death of his wife the Caliph Mehdi, and directly in the death of his son, Hâdî. In this study, The Example of Hayzuran In The Context of Political Influence of Women will be presented in the light of the references of the main sources, the analysis and interpretations of contemporary researchers.
