HELAL TURİZMİN TÜRKİYE İÇİN ÖNEMİ VE BÖLGESEL POTANSİYELİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİNE YÖNELİK NİTEL BİR ARAŞTIRMA: KASTAMONU İLİ ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract
Son yıllarda, Türkiye’ye Rusya ve Avrupa ülkelerinden gelen turist sayısındaki azalışlara karşın, dünyada helal turizm pastası gittikçe büyümektedir. Bu durum Müslüman bir ülke olan Türkiye’nin, helal turizme daha fazla önem vermesini zorunlu kılmaktadır. Bu nedenle Türkiye’de helal turizm potansiyeli olan bölgelerin tespit edilerek buna yönelik politikaların uygulanması önemli hale gelmektedir. Araştırma alanımız olan Kastamonu İli, coğrafi konumu, doğal güzellikleri, Anadolu Türk-İslâm kültürünü yansıtan camileri, külliyeleri, medreseleri, türbeleri, konakları ve gelenek-göreneklerine bağlı misafirperver halkı ile deniz turizmi, doğa turizmi, inanç turizmi, kış turizmi gibi birçok turizm aktivitesine uygun olup, dört mevsim turist çekebilme imkânına sahiptir. Bu bağlamda çalışmada önce Türkiye için helal turizmin önemi ortaya konulmuş daha sonra Kastamonu İlinin helal turizm potansiyelinin değerlendirilmesi için Kastamonu Üniversitesi’nde eğitim gören, yabancı uyruklu Müslüman öğrencilerle odak grup görüşmesi yapılmıştır. Bu sayede İlin helal turizm potansiyelinin objektif olarak değerlendirilmesi ve bu potansiyelin kullanılmasına yönelik öneriler getirilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
Despite the decline in the number of tourists coming to Turkey from Russia and European countries in recent years, the halal tourism cake is more and more growing in the world. This situation necessitates that Turkey, which is a Muslim country, attaches more importance to halal tourism. For this reason, it is becoming important to apply the policies for this by being determined the regions with the potential of halal tourism in Turkey. Our research area, Kastamonu province is suitable for many tourism activities such as sea tourism, nature tourism, faith tourism and winter tourism with geographical location, natural beauties, mosques that reflect the Anatolian Turkish-Islamic culture, Islamic-Ottoman social complexes, tombs, mansions, Moslem theological schools and hospitable people attached to traditions and it has the possibility to attract tourists for four seasons. In this context, first the importance of halal tourism for Turkey was revealed in the study and then a focus group discussion was held with Foreign Muslim students studying at Kastamonu University to appreciate the halal tourism potential of Kastamonu Province. In this way, it has been tried evaluating the halal tourism potential of the province objectively and to make offers for using this potential.
