ANLAM KAYBINA UĞRAMIŞ KELİMELER ÜZERİNDEN YAPILAN ÂYET/ HADİS YORUMLARININ OLUMSUZ YANSIMALARI (YE’CÛC VE ME’CÛC KAVRAMI ÖZELİNDE BİR DEĞERLENDİRME)

Abstract
Bilindiği üzere kelimeler de insanlar gibi doğar, büyür, anlam kaybına, daralmasına veya genişlemesine maruz kalır ve nihayetinde de ölür. Her dilde bunun örneklerine rastlamak mümkündür. Dolayısıyla bir kelimenin söylendiği zaman diliminde ve coğrafyada o toplum tarafından nasıl anlaşıldığının bilinmesi hâlinde cümleye doğru anlam verilebilir; aksi halde istenmeyen manalar ortaya çıkar ve kaçınılmaz olarak mesaj anlaşılamamış olur. Bu makalede “Ye’cûc ve Me’cûc” kelimesinin Hz. Peygamber’in yaşadığı dönemde nasıl anlaşıldığı, ilerleyen süreçte nasıl anlam kaybına uğradığı, konuyla ilgili âyet ve hadislerin nasıl yorumlandığı ve bunun menfî yansımalarının neler olduğu üzerinde durulmuştur. Nitekim günümüzde bile bu kavramın yaşadığı anlam kayması tam olarak tespit edilemediği için kafa karışıklıkları devam etmekte, isabetli olmayan yorumlar yapılmakta ve insanlar sordukları sorulara ikna edici cevaplar alamamaktadır. İslâm coğrafyasının hızla genişlemesinin ve farklı kültürlerin müslümanlar arasına sirayet etmesinin bazı kavramların anlam çerçevesinin genişlemesine veya anlam kaymalarına neden olduğu bilinmektedir. Zira dildeki göstergeler, toplumun geçirdiği sosyo-kültürel değişmelerle sıkı sıkıya ilişkilidir. Bu itibarla Hz. Peygamber’in yaşadığı dönemde “Ye’cûc ve Me’cûc” kelimesi “bozguncu insanlar” anlamında “sıfat” olarak kullanılırken ilerleyen yıllarda yahudi ve hıristiyan kültürünün de etkisiyle düşman görülen kavimlere “isim” olarak verilmeye başlanmıştır. Böylece İsrâiliyat ve Mesihiyât’tan etkilenen râvîler, Hz. Peygamber’in sözlerini yanlış anlayıp aktarmış, hem âyetler hem de Hz. Peygamber’in haklı ikazları doğru anlaşılamamıştır.

Abstract
As known, words emerge like people, it grows, it is subject to loss of meaning, contraction or expansion, and eventually dies. Examples of this can be found in every language. Therefore, if a word is understood by that society in the time period and geography, it can be given the correct meaning to the sentence; otherwise unwanted meanings will emerge and inevitably the message will not be understood. In this article, the words "Gog and Magog" how understood it in the time of the Prophet, how it has become meaningless in the future, how to interpret the verses and hadiths related to the subject and the negative reflections of this have been emphasized. As a matter of fact, even today, the confusion continues because the shift in meaning of this concept cannot be fully determined, inaccurate comments are made and people cannot get convincing answers to the questions they ask. It is known that the rapid expansion of the Islamic geography and the differentiation of different cultures among Muslims lead to the expansion of the meaning framework of some concepts or to the shift of meaning. Because those who appear in the language are closely related to the socio-cultural changes that society has undergone. In this regard during the period when the Prophet lived, "Gog and Magog" word "corrupt/ cruel people" in the sense of "adjectives" as used, in the following years, Jewish and Christian cultures began to be given as "names" to the tribes seen as enemies by the influence of the cultures. Thus, the narrators who are influenced by the Israelites and the Messiah, misunderstood and conveyed the words of the Prophet, both the holy verses and the righteous warnings of the Prophet were not understood correctly.
