Abstract

Abstract

Despite that usually every nation in the world uses one language as a mother tongue, it has been several times detected in the history of mankind that due to many factors, several nations absorbed languages of other nations among which they exist as minorities. Jews can be a typical example for this case. As the reason of life in exile, deportation, immigration, life in different societies and etc. Jews throughout the history used Aramaic, Yidish, Ladino and other languages as their mother tongues and created literary and cultural heritage in these languages Besides, interaction of the mentioned languages with other languages put forward mutual influence between them. Many words used by Jews in these languages in this period were later transmitted to modern Hebrew and are used by Hebrew speakers daily.
