Abstract
Korunma ihtiyacında olan çocuklara yönelik sunulan sosyal hizmetler hem çocuk hem personel açısından geliştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Geçmişten günümüze söz konusu çocukların sorununa ilişkin algının değişmesi ile birlikte bu alandaki sosyal politikalar da değişim ve gelişime uğramıştır. Tüm dünyada ki gelişmelere paralel olarak devlet eliyle gerçekleştirilen kurum bakımı da değişime uğramış ve kışla tipi toplu bakımdan ev tipi bakıma geçilmiştir. Bu dönüşümün en önemli olanı çocuk evi modeli olmuştur. Bu araştırmanın amacı, çocuk evinde çalışan personelin “çocuk evleri” modeline dair görüşlerini ve yaşadıkları deneyimleri keşfetmek ve anlamaktır. Araştırma, Çocuk Evi’nde çalışan 7 personel (bakım elemanı, ev sorumlusu ve yönetici) ile derinlemesine görüşme yapılmasıyla gerçekleştirilen niteliksel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın en önemli bulgusu, çocuk evinde çalışan personelin, burada kalan çocuklara dair yargılayıcı ve eleştirel bir bakış açısına sahip olmalarıdır. Bunlardan en önemlileri: mesai kavramlarının olmaması, çocukların çocuk evine gelişlerine yönelik eleştirel ve ön yargılı görüşlere sahip olmaları, çocuklar ve onların aileleri ile yaşadıkları sorunlardır.

Abstract
Social services offered to children who need protection should be improved in terms of both staff and children. From past to present with changes in social policies in the field of children's perception of the problem in question has undergone the change and development. In parallel with the developments in the whole world, the state-handled institutional care has also undergone a change and the house-type treatment has been passed from the barracks collective care. The most important of these changes has been the model of the children's house. The purpose of this research is to explore and understand the views of the staff working at the child's home on the "children's home" model and the experiences they have experienced. The research is a qualitative study carried out by in-depth interviews with 7 personnel (maintenance staff, housekeeper and manager) working in the Children's House. The most important finding of the study is that the staff working at the child's home must have a judgmental and critical view of the children staying there. The most important of these are: the lack of overtime concepts, critical and prejudiced views of children coming to the children's home, and the problems they have with children and their families.
