Covid 19 Korkusunun İnfaz Koruma Memurlarının Çalışma Performansına Etkisinde İş Stresinin Aracılık Rolü

Abstract
Çin’in Wuhan eyaletinde ortaya çıkan koronavirüsün kısa sürede büyük bir pandemiye dönüştüğü bu süreçten, özellikle insanlarla temas oranının yüksek olduğu bazı meslek grupları daha fazla etkilenmiştir. Bu araştırma da salgınla mücadelede meslek grupları içerisinde insan etkileşiminin yoğun olduğu ve çalışma sürelerinin bu dönemde oldukça arttığı düşünülen, diğer meslek gruplarına göre hem toplumun huzuru hem de bulundukları kurumların güvenlik ve sağlık şartlarının iyileşmesi adına fazla çaba göstermesi gereken ceza infaz kurumlarında çalışan infaz koruma memurları üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmada infaz koruma memurlarının Covid 19 korku düzeyleri ve bu korkunun çalışma performansına etkisinde iş streslerinin aracılık etkisinin olup olmadığı incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda İstanbul bölgesinde faaliyet gösteren ceza infaz kurumlarında çalışan infaz koruma memurlarından anket yolu ile veri toplanmış ve elde edilen veriler SPSS 22 paket programı ile faktör, korelasyon ve regresyon gibi çeşitli analizler kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçlar incelendiğinde infaz koruma memurlarının algıladıkları Covid 19 korkusunun çalışma performansına etkisinde iş stres düzeylerinin aracılık etkisine sahip olmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır.

Some occupational groups, especially those with a high rate of contact with people, have been more affected by this process, where the coronavirus emerging in Wuhan province of China turned into a huge pandemic in a short time.This research is also on prison guards working in penal institutions, who are thought to have intense human interaction among professional groups in the fight against the epidemic and whose working hours are thought to have increased considerably during this period, and who need to make more effort to improve both the peace of the society and the hygiene and safety conditions of their institutions compared to other occupational groups. has been made. In the study, it was investigated whether the work stresses had a mediating effect on determining the Covid 19 fear levels of the warders and the effect of this fear on their work performance. In this context, data was collected from the prison guards working in penal institutions operating in the Istanbul region through a questionnaire and the obtained data was analyzed with various methods using the SPSS 22 package program. When the results were examined, it was concluded that job stress levels did not have a mediating effect on the effect of the fear of Covid 19 perceived by the warders on their work performance.
