INNS AND CARAVANSERAIS IN MACEDONIA IN THE OTTOMAN PERIOD AND THE KURSUNLU INN IN SKOPJE OSMANLI DÖNEMİNDE MAKEDONYA’DA HAN VE KERVANSARAYLAR VE ÜSKÜP’TEKİ KURŞUNLU HAN YAPISI
Numerous Inns and caravanserais were built in the Ottoman period in Macedonia.This fact is prooved with many travel books and archive records.However many of this buildings were ruined and that is why they were unable been protected until today.There is three inns and one caravanserais in Macedonia which were protected from Ottoman Period.Three of this buildings are located in Skopje.Among them Kurshunlu Inn is important one as a very good protected monumental building. This study aim to research arcive records and travel book to determine the number of this Ottoman buildings in Macedonia and to introduce Kurshunlu Inn in Skopje.
