Abstract

In 19 april 1938 an earthquake happened whose epicenter was Kırşehir Yerköy and keskin.there was huge property damages in this earthquake. Young Turkish Republic had a big success with dealing with earthquake. This earthquake not only showed up in the turkish press also showed up in the world press. In this research there will be seen the reflection of the eartquake in the press.
