Abstract
Bu çalışmada klasik gitarın tarihsel gelişimine kısa bir bakış yapılmış ardından klasik gitar konçertolarının 20. yy.daki gelişimi incelenmiştir. Diğer çalgılara göre fiziksel gelişimini çok daha geç tamamlamış bir çalgı olduğu düşünülen klasik gitar, ses şiddeti açısından keman, flüt, piyano gibi enstrümanlara göre daha düşük bir kapasiteye sahiptir. Bu nedenle, gitarın konçerto formundaki eserlerinin sayısı uzun bir süre sınırlı kalmıştır. Ancak, 20. yy.ın ilerleyen dönemlerinde, gitarın fiziksel yapısındaki gelişmeler ve gitarist olmayan bestecilerin gitar için eserler yazmaya teşvikiyle birlikte, konçerto repertuarı önemli ölçüde genişlemiştir. Gitarist besteciler, kendi enstrümanlarının özelliklerini daha iyi anlayarak ve çalma deneyimlerini eserlerine yansıtarak gitar konçertolarının repertuarını zenginleştirmişlerdir. Bu eserler genellikle gitarın teknik ve müzikal özelliklerini vurgulamakta ve gitaristlerin performans potansiyelini maksimize etmektedir. Öte yandan, gitarist olmayan besteciler gitarın potansiyelini keşfetmek ve enstrümanın çalınabilirliğini artırmak için çeşitli teknikler ve müzikal yaklaşımlar kullanmışlar enstrümanın popülerliğinin artması ve klasik müzik camiasında daha geniş bir kitlede kabul görmesine katkıda bulunmuşlardır. Bu çalışmada gitarist ve gitarist olmayan bestecilerin gitar konçertolarını ele alış biçimleri irdelenmiş, bestecilerin benimsemiş oldukları bestecilik teknikleri ve ait oldukları sanat akımları çerçevesinde eserlerinden örnekler verilmiştir. Gitarist ve gitarist olmayan bestecilerin 20. yy.da gitar için yazdığı gitar konçertoları iki ayrı tablo halinde sunulmuştur. Ayrıca genç gitaristler tarafından daha az bilinen gitar konçertolarının tanınmasını sağlamak ve bu eserlerin icra edilmesini teşvik etmek de bu çalışmanın amaçları arasındadır.

Abstract
In this study, a brief overview of the historical development of the classical guitar is provided, followed by an examination of the development of classical guitar concertos in the 20th century. Considered an instrument that completed its physical development much later compared to other instruments, the classical guitar has a lower capacity in terms of sound intensity compared to instruments such as the violin, flute, and piano. Therefore, the number of concertos for the guitar remained limited for a long time. However, in the later periods of the 20th century, with advancements in the physical structure of the guitar and encouragement from non-guitarist composers to write pieces for the guitar, the concerto repertoire expanded significantly. Guitarist composers enriched the repertoire of guitar concertos by better understanding the characteristics of their instrument and reflecting their performance experiences in their works. These compositions often emphasize the technical and musical features of the guitar and maximize the performance potential of guitarists. On the other hand, non-guitarist composers used various techniques and musical approaches to explore the potential of the guitar and enhance the playability of the instrument, contributing to its increasing popularity and wider acceptance in the classical music community. In this study, the approaches of guitarist and non-guitarist composers to guitar concertos are examined, and examples from their works are provided within the framework of the compositional techniques they adopted and the artistic movements they belonged to. Guitar concertos written by guitarist and non-guitarist composers in the 20th century are presented in two separate tables. Furthermore, among the objectives of this study is to promote recognition of lesser-known guitar concertos by young guitarists and encourage the performance of these works.
