Abstract
Arketip arayışı, içinde yaşadığımız değişken, karmaşık ve belirsizlikler içindeki dünyayı insanın bir öz’e indirgeyerek anlama ve anlatma çabasıdır. Geçen yüzyılın başlarına doğru, bilim nesne temelli arketip arayışında, var olan hemen her şey, nesnel bir öze indirgendi. Sanat ta bu arayışa biçim diliyle yanıtlar aradı. Bu öz arayışı ruhumuzu ve aklımızı temelden şekillendirirken, bir var olma ve yaşam formülü de olmaktaydı. Bilimin paralelinde ama bilimden esinle, Modern sanat ta bir arketip arayışıydı. Öncelikle modern yaşantımızda bilimle şekillenen arketip arayışı özde olanı, önce atomlara ardından atom altı parçacıklara indirgedi. Bilimle temellendirilen parçacık dünyasında elde edilen bilgiler geleneksel yaşamı temelden alt üst etti. Bilimin paralelinde, sanat ta bu dönüşüme biçim diliyle öz’de arayışı; biçimleri parçalayıp koni, küre, silindir ve küp gibi geometrik alt biçimlere indirgeyerek yanıt verdi. Modern sanatın arketip arayışında ilk önce empresyonist sanatçılar, biçimleri ışık ve renk analizlerine dayanan, doğadan resimler yaparak ışığı incelediler. Ardından, Kübist sanatçılar nesnelerin yüzeyindeki biçimleri parçalayarak temel geometrik formlara dönüştürdüler. Fütüristler kübizmin geometrik diliyle, biçimleri hareketlendirip yeni kompozisyonlar ürettiler. Dada sanatçıları soyutlaşan değerlere kolaj tavırları ve performanslarıyla cevap aradılar. Konstrüktivistler malzemeler üzerinde katı ve şeffaf biçim ilişkilerinde, boşluğu da tasarımlarına dahil ettiler. Sürrealistler ise Freud’un psikanalizinden esinle bilinç ve bilinç dışını, rüya ve fantezileri üzerinden düşünerek gerçeküstü eserleriyle insanın iç dünyasına yeni pencereler açtılar. Dolayısıyla bilinç üzerinden kalkan kontrol serbest çağrışımlarla özgür kaldı. Bu makale bilimsel gelişmelerin paralelinde, modern sanatın, öz biçime indirgenmek istenen arketip arayışını, öncü sanat eserleri üzerinden araştırarak ve tartışarak göstermeyi amaçlar.

Abstract
The search for archetypes is an effort to understand and explain the variable, complex and uncertain world we live in by reducing it to an essence. Towards the beginning of the last century, in science's search for object-based archetypes, almost everything in existence was reduced to an objective essence. Art also sought answers to this quest through the language of form. While this search for essence fundamentally shaped our soul and mind, it also became a formula for existence and life. In parallel with science but inspired by science, modern art was also a search for an archetype. First of all, the search for archetypes shaped by science in our modern life reduced the essence to atoms and then to subatomic particles. The knowledge obtained in the particle world based on science has fundamentally turned traditional life upside down. In parallel with science, art responded to this transformation by searching for the essence through the language of form, breaking down the forms and reducing them to geometric sub-forms such as cones, spheres, cylinders and cubes. In modern art's search for archetypes, impressionist artists first examined light by making paintings from nature, whose forms were based on light and color analysis. Then, Cubist artists broke down the surface shapes of the objects and transformed them into basic geometric forms. Futurists animated the forms and produced new compositions with the geometric language of cubism. Dada artists sought answers to abstract values with their collage attitudes and performances. Constructivists incorporated the void into their designs, with solid and transparent form relationships on materials. Surrealists, on the other hand, were inspired by Freud's psychoanalysis and opened new windows to the inner world of humans with their surreal works, thinking about the conscious and unconscious through dreams and fantasies. Therefore, the control that was removed from consciousness remained free through free associations. In parallel with scientific developments, this article aims to show modern art's search for archetypes, which are intended to be reduced to the essential form, by researching and discussing pioneering works of art.
