Abstract
İnsanlık var olduğundan beri süregelen doğa-insan etkileşimi, doğal ortamın şekillenmesinde ve değişmesinde büyük rolü olmuştur. Özellikle son yüzyıllarda sanayileşme faaliyetlerinin artması ve teknolojinin hızla gelişmesi sonucu doğadaki bu şekillenme, dengenin bozulması ile beraber yerini doğal afetlere ve çevresel felaketlere bırakmıştır. Doğal ortamın beşerî faaliyetler neticesinde dengesinin bozulduğu bu dönemde karşılaşılan en önemli sorunlardan biriside erozyon sorunu olmuştur. Bu sorun, tüm dünyayı etkilemekte ve insanları bu doğrultuda çözümler bulmak için çaba sarf etmeye itmektedir. “Erozyon, toprağın aşınma ve taşınma yoluyla verimliliğini kaybetmesi” ifadesi ile tanımlamak mümkündür. Erozyon neticesinde toprakların verimsizleşmesi, baraj, nehir ve göllerin kirlenmesi, aynı zamanda iklim değişikliği gibi köklü değişmelere neden olması bakımından önem arz etmektedir. Erozyon, doğal erozyon ve hızlandırılmış erozyon olmak üzere ikiye ayrılmaktadır. Doğal erozyon yararlı olsa da hızlandırılmış erozyon özellikle verimli toprakların kaybolması nedeniyle zararlıdır. Ülkemiz bu erozyon sorununu önlemek amacıyla vermiş olduğu mücadele bakımından dünyada ilk sıralarda yer almaktadır. Bu çalışmada önemli ekolojik sorunlardan biri olan erozyon konusunu, Kur’an’da yer alan bilimsel içerikli ayetler ile coğrafi kıstaslar esas alınarak incelenmiştir. Bu alanda yeni bir bakış açısı kazandırmak adına Kur’an ile bilimin çelişkili olmadığını bilakis Kur’an ayetlerinin bilime ışık tuttuğunu göstermektir. Erozyon olayı özelinde bu çalışma ile Kur’an’ın bilime ışık kaynağı olduğunun gösterilmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Abstract
The nature-human interaction that has been going on since humanity existed has played a major role in shaping and changing the natural environment. Especially in the last centuries, as a result of the increase in industrialization activities and the rapid increase in technology, this formation in nature has left its place to natural disasters and environmental disasters with the deterioration of balance. One of the most important problems encountered in this period, when the balance of the natural environment was disturbed as a result of human activities, was the problem of erosion. It is possible to define it with the expression “erosion, loss of fertility of the soil through erosion and transportation”. As a result of erosion, it is important in terms of infertility of soils, pollution of dams, rivers and lakes, as well as causing radical changes such as climate change. Erosion is divided into two as natural erosion and accelerated erosion. While natural erosion is beneficial, accelerated erosion is particularly harmful due to loss of fertile soil. Our country ranks first in the world in terms of the struggle it has given to prevent this erosion problem. In this study, the subject of erosion, which is one of the important ecological problems, has been examined based on the scientific verses in the Qur'an and geographical criteria. In order to gain a new perspective in this field, it is to show that the Qur'an and science are not contradictory, on the contrary, the verses of the Qur'an shed light on science. With this study, specifically on the erosion phenomenon, it is aimed to show that the Quran is a source of light for science.
