Abstract
Öz: İnsanlık tarihinde bazı müşterek kavramlar vardır. Dini, dili, rengi, cinsiyeti, konumu fark etmeksizin insanlığın ortak kaderini temsil eder. Bu kavramlardan biri ve akla ilk geleni ise ölüm’dür. Ölüm fikriyatı sanata ve sanatçıya da nüfûz ederek çeşitli yansımalarıyla etkisini göstermiştir. Bu etki bazı sanat ve sanatçılarda marazi bir tesir meydana getirmiştir. Bu eserlerden biri Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı’nın ölüm temalı şiirleri ve bu duyguyu içinden bir türlü at(a)mayan ve aklından çıkar(a)mayan sanatkârlardan biri de hiç şüphesiz şairin kendisidir. Tarancı’da ölüm teması; korku, saplantı, heyula, unutulmak, kaygı, endişe, tükeniş, kabullenememe, bunalım, itiraz, reddetme, tedirginlik, çaresizlik gibi metaforlarla ürkütücü bir tablo oluşturmaktadır. Bu makalede, Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı’nın şiirlerinin bir bölümü taranarak ölüm temalı şiirlerini çözümlemeye çalışacağız. Bu kazanım bize Cahit Sıtkı’nın iç dünyasını aralayarak, sanatçının kimliğini ve ölüme olan bakış açısını anlamamıza katkı sağlayacaktır.

Abstract: There are some common concepts in human history. It is the common destiny of humanity regardless of religion, language, color, gender and location. One of these concepts and the first one that comes to mind is death. The idea of death has also penetrated art and artists and has shown its influence through various reflections. This effect has had a morbid effect on some art and artists. One of these works is Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı‘s poems on the theme of death, and one of the artists who cannot get this feeling out of his mind is undoubtedly the poet himself. The theme of death in Tarancı creates a frightening picture with metaphors such as fear, obsession, haunting, oblivion, anxiety, worry, exhaustion, inability to accept, depression, objection, rejection, uneasiness, helplessness. In this article, we will try to analyze Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı's poems on the theme of death. This achievement will help us to understand the artist's identity and his perspective on death by opening the inner world of Cahit Sıtkı.
