ABSTRACT
Architectural arts, which hold an important place within Seljuk art, have produced examples of perfect craftsmanship (wood, tile, stone) in every field. These works have enabled very important information about the culture of the period to reach us today. In this study, the decorative elements of the Sahip Ata Fahrettin Ali Madrasa (Sivas/Turkey) were examined, and the motifs were interpreted using a computer-aided design program for use on garment products. Within the scope of the study, the Rumi and geometric decorations found in the Sahip Ata Madrasa were used as decorative elements on various parts (collar, sleeve, hem, cuff) of garment products. The aim is to continue and carry our cultural heritage to the present day by reinterpreting the decorations found in the Sahip Ata Fahrettin Ali Madrasa. In the study, based on the data obtained from the literature, designs inspired by the decorations found in the Sahip Ata Madrasa were planned to be applied to clothing products, and collections were created by transferring the designs onto the final product.
