Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının teknolojik pedagojik alan bilgilerine (TPAB) yönelik özgüvenlerini (TPAB) incelemektir. Bu çalışmada tarama (survey) medotu kullanılmıştır. Çalışma Fırat Üniversitesi fen bilgisi öğretmenliği bölümünde öğrenim görmekte olan 40 öğretmen adayıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada Graham, Burgoyne, Cantrell, Smith, ve Harris (2009) tarafından geliştirilen, Timur ve Taşar (2011) tarafından Türkçe’ye uyarlanan “Teknolojik Pedagojik Alan Bilgisi Öz-Güven Ölçeği (TPABÖGÖ)” kullanılmıştır. Ölçekten elde edilen verilerin analizi SPSS programı ile yapılmıştır. Elde edilen verilere göre öğretmen adaylarının TPAB öz güvenlerine ilişkin algılarının yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca çalışmada, fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının teknolojik pedagojik alan bilgisi öz güven ölçeğinin puanlarının en fazla TB ve TPB alt boyutlarına sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the development of preservice science teachers self confidence on their technological, pedagogical, content knowledge (TPACK). In this study survey medot was used. Study was conducted 40 preservice science teachers who take part in science teacher department at Fırat University. The data were collected through the “Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge Self-Confidence” scale developed by Graham, Burgoyne, Cantrell, Smith, and Harris (2009), translated into Turkish by Timur and Taşar (2011). Analysis of the data obtained from the scale was performed with SPSS software. According to the data , it was found that preservice science teachers self confidence on their TPACK was high. Also preservice science teachers’' technological pedagogical content knowledge of the self-confidence scale scores showed that TK and TPK subscales have the highest scores.
