Abstract
Ülkemizdeki birçok yöremiz değişen yaşam şartlarına rağmen geleneksel kıyafetlerini kullanmaya devam etmektedir. Beypazarı’da bu geleneksel kıyafetlerin günümüzde hala kullanıldığı yörelerden bir tanesidir. Beypazarı’na ait geçmişte ve günümüzde kullanılan yöresel kıyafetler iyi bir şekilde korunmuş halde müze ve evlerde muhafaza edilmektedir. Muhafaza edilen kıyafetlerden bir tanesi de cepkenlerdir. Yapılan bu araştırma ile Beypazarı giyim kültürünün bir parçası olan cepkenlerden dört adedi incelenerek, cepkenler hakkında bilgilerin gelecek nesillere aktarılabilmesi için kaynak oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca Beypazarı yöresi kıyafetleriyle ilgili tanımlara ve cepkenlerin malzeme, renk, dikiş, astar tekniği ile süsleme özelliği hakkında bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Bu araştırmada Beypazarı’nda önemli bir yeri olan gelin kıyafetleriyle birlikte kullanılan cepken modellerinin özelliklerini ortaya koyabilmek ve arşivlemek amaçlanmıştır.

Abstract
We have many regions in our country continue to use traditional clothes in their daily life although the region's changing life conditions . Beypazarı is the one of the regions. The local traditional clothes belonging not only to past but also to present local culture of Beypazarı preserved well in museums and even homes. Cepken (Jacket) is one of the well preserved traditional dress. There is a study examining the four different types of jacket. The results of the study is the first source study for the next generations. In this study it is given some valuable information about the preparation of the jackets such as materials, clours, sewing styles, lining technique and ornament techniques. The aim of the present paper is to expose and file the characteristics of the cepken models wearing with bride outfits having an important prestige in Beypazari region.
