Abstract
Simetri, nakış ve süsleme sanatı dünya üzerinde pek çok coğrafide yaygın bir sanat anlayışıdır. XVI. yüzyıl sonlarında, mimari alanlardaki yozlaşmalar, mimari anıtlarda kullanılan simetri, nakış ve süsleme sanatına duyulan ilgiyi azaltmıştır. XX. yüzyılın çağdaş sanatçıları doğadan aldıkları biçimlerle yüzeyleri oluştururken aynı zamanda simetri ve matematik kurallarını da göz önünde bulundurmayı ihmal etmemişlerdir. Konuyla ilgili en belirgin örnekleri, Avrupa’ da ünlü Fransız mimar Le Corbusier’ in mimari yapıtlarında, resim sanatında İslami nakış, süsleme ve simetri prensiplerini uygulayan M.C. Escher’in eserlerinde görmek mümkündür. Elde edilen sonuçlar, tasarımcı ressamlar tarafından uygun değişiklerle nakış ve süslemelere dönüştürülerek, tekstil, duvar resmi, cam sanatı, vb. uygulamalı sanat alanlarında yaygın olarak kullanılmıştır. Bu uygulamalar çağdaş konstrüktivizmin (yapısalcılığın) bir dalı olarak yorumlanmaktadır.

Abstract
Symmetry, embroidery and decorative arts is an art many geographically widespread understanding of the world. The end of the XVI century, corruption in the field of architecture, symmetry used in architectural monuments, decreased interest that needed to embroidery and decorative arts. XX-century contemporary artists the same time creating symmetry and mathematical rules form the surface they take from nature did not neglect to consider also. The most obvious examples are relevant, in Europe the famous French architect Le Corbusier 's architectural work in, applying the principles of composition studies in Islamic embroidery and decorations MC Escher 's possible to see the works. The results are converted to the appropriate amendment by embroidery and decorative painter, designer, textile, wallpaper, glass art, and so on. It is used widely in the field of applied arts. These practices of contemporary constructivism (structuralism) is interpreted as a branch.
