Abstract

Yapılan tarama sonucunda Şeyh Gâlib Dîvânı‘nda tespit edildiği kadarıyla 13 (on üç) kuş türü yaklaşık 222 (iki yüz yirmi iki) yerde geçmektedir

Abstract

Sheikh Gâlib, one of the last great representatives of diwan literature, as a mystic poet, he intensively used Sufi thought. Because he preferred Sebk-i Hindi expression and religious-mystical themes, in his works there are traces of symbolic narration. In order to enrich the narrative with symbolic expressions and to comply with the pre-established rule of poetry, Sheikh Gâlib frequently used mythological items which each of them became a symbol on his diwan. Couplets were listed after the description of the values and elements that mythological and legendary represented. This study, based on the Sheikh Galib’s Diwan which prepared by Naci Okcu. The data were obtained by scanning the diwan. The obtained data are processed by specifying the places where the data are found. As a result of the search, as far as determined, thirteen different bird species are found in two hundred twenty two places in ŞeyhGalib’s Diwan.
