Abstract
Bu çalışma; ilkokul Türkçe ders ve öğrenci çalışma kitaplarını mizahi ögeler bakımından incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamındaki ilkokul Türkçe kitapları; tema içerikleri, yayınevleri ve sınıf düzeylerine göre analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma nitel bir doküman analizi olarak tasarlanmıştır. Verilerin kaynağını Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Yayınevi ve çeşitli özel yayınevlerine ait kitaplar oluşturmaktadır. Veriler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Mizah Ögeleri Değerlendirme Aracı ile toplanmıştır. Çalışma verilerinin analizi nitel veri analiz yöntemlerinden içerik analizi tekniğine göre incelenmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre; “Sağlık ve Çevre”, “Hayal Gücü”, “Değerlerimiz” ve “Üretim, Tüketim ve Verimlilik” temalarında yer alan mizah ögelerinin diğer temalara nazaran daha fazla olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Yayınevi’nin hazırladığı kitaplarda özel yayınevlerinin hazırlamış oldukları kitaplara göre daha fazla mizah ögesi bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Son olarak, ilkokul Türkçe ders kitapları, öğrenci çalışma kitaplarına göre daha fazla mizah ögesi içermektedir.

Abstract
This study is to examine primary school Turkish classes and students workbook in terms of humor elements. In the context of the research, primary school Turkish lesson books were analyzed in accordance with theme content, publishers and grades. This study is designed as a qualitative document analysis. The source of the data consist of the books of the Ministry of Education Publishing House and various private publishing houses. The study data was collected by Humor Elements Assessment Tool which is developed by the writer. The analysis of the study data were analyzed according to content analysis which is one of the qualitative data analyses. The results obtained from the study show those themes of “Health and Environment”, “Imagination”, “Values” and “Production, Consumption and Efficiency” has more humor elements than the other themes. In addition, it has been found that there are more humor elements in the books prepared by the Ministry of Education Publishing House than private publishing houses. Finally, primary school textbooks contain more humor elements than student workbooks.
