Bölgesel Dış Ticaret ve Uluslararası İlişkiler Bağlamında Türkiye’nin Özel Konumu ve Jeopolitiği Hakkında Öğretmen Görüşleri

Abstract
Sosyal bilgiler dersi, öğretim programları içerisinde mihver ders grubu içinde yer almıştır. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin jeopolitik konumunun sağladığı avantajları, başta komşuları olmak üzere bölge ve dünya devletleriyle olan ekonomik ve siyasi ilişkileri, bölgesel ve küresel olayları, sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin gözüyle değerlendirmeyi amaçlamıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda sosyal bilgiler öğretmenliği 6. sınıf programında yer alan “Uluslararası İlişkilerimiz” ünitesinde okutulan siyasi coğrafya, uluslararası ilişkiler, dış ticaret, ithalat- ihracat ve jeopolitik kavramlarının öğretimine yönelik öğretmen görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla farklı okul türlerinde çalışan 3’ü kadın 7’si erkek toplam 10 öğretmen ile gönüllülük esasına göre görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada yöntem olarak nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgu bilim (fenomonoloji) deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüş formu kullanılarak elde edilmiş ve elde edilen veriler, içerik analizine tabii tutulmuştur. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlara bakıldığında; öğretmenlerin Türkiye’nin dış ticaretinde özel konum ve jeopolitik gücünü yeterli düzeyde kullanamadığını düşündükleri belirlenmiştir. Sınır komşuları ile yapılan dış ticareti yeterli düzeyde görmedikleri anlaşılmış, bu sonucun çıkmasında en önemli faktörün 20.yüzyılda büyük güçlerin etkisiyle bölgede yaşanan savaşlar ve siyasal kargaşaların Türkiye’nin ticaretini olumsuz yönde etkilediği görüşünü belirtmişlerdir. Öğretmenler, sosyal bilgiler derslerinin müfredat programında coğrafya konu ve kazanımlarının yeterli olmadığı, yeni nesillere güncel konular ve bölgesinde yaşanan siyasi olaylarla ilgili daha fazla bilgi verilmesi gerektiğini ifade etmişlerdir. Ayrıca Sosyal Bilgiler müfredat programında yer alan coğrafya konuları içerisinde siyasi coğrafya içeriklerine daha fazla ağırlık verilebileceği, gerekirse bu konuda bir seçmeli dersin hazırlanabileceği önerisini dile getirmişlerdir.

Abstract
The social studies course was included in the axis course group in the curriculum. In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the advantages of Turkey's geopolitical position, its economic and political relations with its neighbors, regional and world states, regional and global events, from the eyes of social studies teachers. In line with this purpose, 3 women, 7 of whom work in different school types, in order to determine the views of teachers on the teaching of the concepts of political geography, international relations, foreign trade, import-export and geopolitics taught in the "Our International Relations" unit in the 6th grade social studies teaching program. Interviews were held with a total of 10 male teachers on a voluntary basis. The phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used as a method in the research. In the research, the data were obtained by using a semi-structured opinion form and the obtained data were subjected to content analysis. Considering the results obtained in the research; It has been determined that teachers think that Turkey cannot use its special position and geopolitical power in foreign trade adequately. It was understood that they did not see the foreign trade with their neighbors at a sufficient level, and they stated that the most important factor in the emergence of this result was that the wars and political turmoil in the region under the influence of the great powers in the 20th century negatively affected Turkey's trade. Teachers stated that geography subjects and achievements are not sufficient in the curriculum of social studies courses, and that new generations should be given more information about current issues and political events in their region. In addition, they expressed the suggestion that more emphasis can be given to the contents of political geography among the geography subjects included in the Social Studies curriculum, and an elective course can be prepared on this subject if necessary.
