Abstract
Sanat, insanın duygu ve düşüncelerinde tasarlayıp şekil, renk ve seslerde anlam bulan her şeydir. İnsanın kendini anlatma çabaları, zaman içinde bir estetik kimlik kazanmış ve sanatın doğmasına da neden olmuştur. Ancak sanat iletişimle yaygınlaşmış ve kuşaktan kuşağa aktarılabilmiştir. İnsanın var olduğu devirlerden bu yana en etkili anlatım ve iletişim şeklini, çizerek yaptığı resim, şekil ya da işaretlerle sağlamışlardır. Bu işaretler insanların, anlatmak istediği her şeyi en kısa ve öz biçimde vermeyi amaçlamıştır. Görsel anlatım dediğimiz bu iletişim dilinin ilk örnekleri olan mağara devrindeki resim ve şekiller hem o zamanki insanlar arasında bir iletişim kurmayı sağlamış hem de o insanlardan günümüze bilgi niteliği taşıyan çeşitli izleri taşımıştır. Böylece sanatın kavramsal niteliği, tarihsel gelişimi içinde sanatçılar, felsefeciler ve bilim adamları tarafından ele alınırken sanatın gelişimine de önderlik etmişlerdir. Sanatçılar, insanlar ve olaylar arasında bilgi aktarımında hep köprü görevini üstlenmiştirler. Geçmişten günümüze içinde yaşadıkları toplumun, kültür ve coğrafyasının olay ve sorunlarını eserlerine aktarmışlar, kendilerini rahatsız eden problem ve olaylara karşı tepkilerini ortaya koymuşlardır. Duygu ve düşüncelerini de eserlerindeki çeşitli renk ve sembollerle ifade etmişlerdir. Bu makalede Ali Elmacı’nın eserleri incelenirken kullandığı sembol ve renklerden hareketle çalışmaları analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ali Elmacı'nın eserleriyle sanat ve iletişim bağlamında yaşadığı toplumla kurmaya çalıştığı çeşitli dengelere yer verilmiştir. Bu araştırmada nitel bir araştırma ile literatür taraması yöntemi kullanılmıştır.

Abstract
Art is everything that is designed in human feelings and thoughts and finds meaning in shapes, colors, and sounds. Man's efforts to express himself have gained an aesthetic identity over time and have led to the birth of art. However, art became widespread through communication and could be transferred from generation to generation. Since the ages of human existence, they have provided the most effective way of expression and communication with drawings, shapes, or signs. These signs aim to give everything that people want to tell in the shortest and most concise way. The pictures and shapes in the cave period, which are the first examples of this communication language, which we call visual expression, both provided a communication between the people of that time and carried various traces of information from those people to the present day. Thus, while the conceptual nature of art was handled by artists, philosophers, and scientists in its historical development, they also led the development of art. Artists have always acted as a bridge in the transfer of information between people and events. From past to present, they have transferred the events and problems of the society, culture and geography they live into their works, and they have revealed their reactions to the problems and events that disturb them. They also expressed their feelings and thoughts with various colors and symbols in their works. In this article, Ali Elmacı's works were tried to be analyzed based on the symbols and colors she used while examining her works. Various balances that Ali Elmacı tries to establish with the society she lives in are included in the context of art and communication with her works. In this study, a qualitative research and literature review method were used.
