Today, as a result of the rapid expansion of the internet and information technologies, the world has entered a process of change in which its effects will be greater than the industrial revolution. Since this change will directly affect the costs and thus the competitiveness of the firms, it is essential that the companies keep up with the digital transformation. Digital transformation will improve service quality and reduce costs when implemented with the right strategy. However, it is thought that the need for human resources in banks will decrease with digital transformation. It is inevitable that the decrease in the need for human resources will lead to a decrease in the value given to the personnel by the bank, a slowdown in the promotion processes and an increase in layoffs. This may contribute to the increase or formation of the career plateau. In this context, an interview was conducted to examine this relationship.
